2022 Jeep Wrangler New Keys Made in Brighton NY
our work
Red Key LLC made new keys for a 2022 Jeep Wrangler at a home in Brighton NY, not far from the Twelve Corners area off Monroe Avenue. We are locally owned and operated, licensed, bonded and insured with years of experience. Our shop is at 691 E Main St Rochester NY 14605 and we serve the entire Monroe County area and beyond.
The photo shows our technician holding the finished Jeep key in front of the Wrangler with our Red Key service van parked right behind it. The key is a remote head key, which means the remote buttons and the metal blade are all built into one piece. You can see the lock button, remote start button, and red panic button on the key head.

This style is different from a proximity fob because you still insert the blade and turn it to start the engine. The Wrangler was parked in a quiet neighborhood in Brighton near the shops along Monroe Avenue. A lot of customers ask us how many keys they should have for their Jeep and we always say keep at least two. If you only have one and you don’t have a backup, the cost to replace it goes way higher because we may need to program from scratch. Making a spare while you still have a working key is the smarter move.
The 2022 Wrangler uses a transponder chip inside the key head that has to be programmed to match the vehicles immobilizer system. Without that step the engine will not crank even if the blade fits the ignition. Red Key LLC handles all types of locksmith services for commercial and residential customers.
A Quick Tip for Jeep Wrangler Key Owners
If your Jeep key remote buttons start acting weird, try replacing the battery inside the key head before calling for service. A dead battery in the remote will not affect the ignition but it will stop the lock buttons and panic alarm from working. Most Jeep key head batteries are easy to swap and cost just a few dollars at any store.
